Hi all,
I’m Pinky. I’m a proud Indian, now living in the States for a few years. Beautiful things make me happy,,and making beautiful things make me ……well lets just say, they make me super happy
!!!!!
I studied Interior Design at one of the leading colleges in India,,worked for a while and then got married. Have been trotting from one country to another since…with occasional visits to my home country. ohhhhhh how I miss it!!! ( I know it’s a little dramatic, but that’s how I’m). Nothing makes me feel better than my Family and Friends.
There are lots of means that bring me joy in my heart and a long smile on my face.Gifting beautiful gifts is one of them. Packing a gift is something i loveeee….and that certainly doesn’t mean “just” wrapping them.
Paper is a staple in my supplies,,,and i love the way it totally transforms itself from a flat sheet to sometimes this three-dimensional piece of useful object of beauty.
Some of my disappointments are meeting people with no respect for others, nasty odors and messy and unorganized surroundings.
I strongly believe that “smile is most contagious ” and “what ever happens is for a purpose”.
So, why do i make cards, boxes, embellishments??
I didn’t start out making cards. I started as a scrapbooker. I loved pulling items together, I loved creating something, I loved working with paper, and I loved ribbon.I started with simple cards and scrapbooking layouts. Later, i graduated to making small gift boxes in various forms and they turned out to be such a hit I cudn’t stop ( or maybe i didn’t want to stop
). But like most of my artistic phases, soon I had more ideas and areas to venture. What does a paper-loving, ribbon-obsessed person to do?
This is all about me…now about the people who made it happen for me.
All my talent, stride and excitement would have fizzed out without the support of my friends and family(and the finances from my patient husband
). And more than anything else,,the existence of this blog wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for my friend Mansi. So, thanx a ton Mansi. Not only did i learn a lot about crafting ( considering a constant requirement for uploads) I also learnt a whole new world of blogging (which i hear even kids can do, but frankly, has been a fairly daunting
task for me)
.
I would love for you to take a tour and leave your precious comments; and by comments i don’t just mean compliments…i’m open to creative criticism. Enjoy!!
